Rates & Payments
Daily rates typically range from $50 to $200, depending on the model. Multi-day and weekly discounts are automatically applied at checkout. Contact us for custom quotes or delivery options.
Yes! We offer tiered multi-day discounts: rent for 3–6 days and get 10% off, or rent for 7 or more days and get 20% off. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout. We also offer a 10% discount for students, veterans, and seniors 65+ with a valid ID.
There is no mileage limit at Moto Venice. We simply charge a low daily rate and then a per mile fee. The more you ride, the more you pay. Mileage fees will be deducted from your security deposit at the end of the rental.
The security deposit is $1000, which matches the $1,000 deductible on the insurance policy that fully covers the bike. The security deposit minus mileage charges, any late fees, and gear charges will be refunded to you after the rental if there are no damages.

Our garage is right next to Marina Del Rey Quality Cleaners and behind Niche Cafe. Please do not park in the MDR Quality Cleaners parking lot. There is usually unlimited street parking on Oxford Street.
We're generally available between the hours of 9am and 6pm, however, we are often out of the garage. Please contact us to make arrangements or to browse our inventory.
We work by appointment only, so it's very important that you are on time to pick up the bike. If you're going to be late, please let us know as soon as possible. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your pickup time, as there's not always somebody at the garage.

Insurance
No — insurance is included in the price of your rental. Our insurance is through MBA Insurance, and it covers the California state minimum liability. The bike itself is covered comprehensively with a $1,000 deductible, which is why we take a $1,000 security deposit. If you want liability coverage above the state minimum, you can buy supplemental liability insurance (SLI) directly from MBA — see the SLI question below.

Yes. Your rental already includes the California state minimum liability coverage, and the bike itself is covered comprehensively with a $1,000 deductible (that's what your $1,000 security deposit is for). If you want liability coverage above the state minimum, you can buy supplemental liability insurance (SLI) directly from MBA Insurance at mbains.com. You'll need our policy number, FP5601999, and the last 5 digits of your bike's VIN, which are shown on your Trip Details page and in your trip confirmation email. SLI is optional, and it is purchased from and paid to MBA Insurance directly, not Moto Venice.
They're shown in the Insurance & Documents section of your Trip Details page once your trip is paid, and they're also included in your trip confirmation email. Those digits and our policy number, FP5601999, are all MBA Insurance needs to sell you supplemental liability insurance.
